What Happens During Your Visit?

Shoulder and arm pain can feel different depending on the underlying cause and the severity of the condition. Here are some common descriptions of how shoulder and arm pain might feel:

1. Consultation

Your Therapist will discuss with you the history of your symptoms to get to the bottom of your issue’s and provide the best advise.

2. 2D Scanning

A 2D scan will be taken to determine your body weight distribution. This tells us what part of your feet need the most support.

3. Gait Analysis

We will observe your gait to understand your unique walking pattern that may be contributing to your pain.

4. Posture Analysis

We will consider your entire posture and range of motion (not only your feet). This is vital for an accurate diagnosis and orthoses design.

5. 3D Scanning

A 3D scan gives us a full image of your entire leg allowing us to create your prescription orthoses, designed perfect for your feet, precisely treating your condition.

6. Order the insoles

We will finalise your design and order your prescription Orthoses. They are 3D Printed and will be ready within 10 working days.

BONUS: Our medical insoles are fully customisable. You can choose the colour and have your name printed on them!

Custom Made vs 'Off The Shelf'?

Custom-made insoles, also known as orthotics, are designed to provide individualized support and alignment for the feet. They are crafted based on the specific contours of your feet, and they aim to address the unique biomechanical needs of the individual. Here are several reasons why custom-made insoles are often considered better than generic, off-the-shelf insoles:

  1. Personalized Support: Custom-made insoles are tailored to the unique shape and structure of your feet. This personalized fit provides optimal support and comfort, addressing specific issues such as arch height, foot length, and width.
  2. Alignment Correction: You may have biomechanical issues that contribute to foot, ankle, knee, or lower back pain. Custom insoles can be designed to correct these issues by providing proper alignment and distributing pressure more evenly across the feet.
  3. Medical Conditions: People with certain medical conditions, such as flat feet, high arches, plantar fasciitis, or bunions, often benefit from custom-made insoles. These insoles can be designed to accommodate and alleviate the symptoms associated with these conditions.
  4. Enhanced Comfort: The individualized design of custom-made insoles helps improve overall comfort by providing better cushioning and support where it’s needed most. This can be especially important for individuals who spend long hours on their feet.
  5. Long-Term Durability: Our 3D printed insoles are constructed with high-quality materials and designed to withstand the wear and tear associated with regular use for minimum 5-10 years!
  6. Reduced Foot Fatigue: Custom-made insoles can help reduce fatigue and discomfort by promoting proper foot alignment and reducing strain on the muscles and joints. This can be especially beneficial for individuals who stand or walk for extended periods.
